About Loving Belfast

What this website is

Loving Belfast is an independent website about Belfast and Northern Ireland. It has two parts: a directory of local businesses, and practical guides for people who live in, work in or visit Belfast.

How business listings work

We list businesses in Belfast and Northern Ireland. Before a listing goes live, we check its name, address, phone number and opening hours against the business’s own published information, or confirm them with the business. Each listing shows the date it was last checked.

The directory is new, and we add businesses as we check them. If you know a business that should be listed, suggest it.

How guides are written

Our guides are written for Belfast and Northern Ireland and checked against official sources — such as nidirect, Belfast City Council and Translink. Each guide lists its sources and the date it was last checked.

Independence

Loving Belfast is not an official website of Belfast City Council, the Northern Ireland government, or any brand named on the site, including SPAR.

About our web address

The website lives at lovinglistowel.co.uk. Despite the name of the address, Loving Belfast is about Belfast and Northern Ireland — it isn’t a guide to Listowel in County Kerry.
